David Martinez is a photographer, filmmaker, and educator with over 20 years of experience in visual storytelling.

His versatile portfolio includes collaborations with Disney, Fox, Warner Music Group, McKinsey & Company, and The New York Times - spanning commercials, music videos, documentaries, branded content, and editorial projects. His work earned him the Zeiss Precision Image Competition award for cinematography.
A hands-on creator, David manages every aspect of production himself: directing, camera operation, lighting, and post-production/color grading, always with a cinematic, minimalist approach that emphasizes reactive camera work and intentional imagery.

As an educator, he served as Film Program Manager at Maine Media Workshops for 6 years and led nearly 100 workshops and master classes in filmmaking, cinematography, lighting, and visual storytelling.
He has also shared his expertise through specialized lighting workshops at Pixar Animation Studios.
