Prague, Czech Republic
I arrived in Prague and headed straight to the Old Town Square, starting right by the famous Astronomical Clock—watching its mechanical apostles parade on the hour amid a crowd of onlookers.
From there, I strolled across the Charles Bridge, where the atmosphere was electric: portrait artists quickly sketching visitors, busking musicians playing everything from classical to jazz, and tourists from all over the world pausing to take in the historic statues and sweeping views of the Vltava River.

As the afternoon turned to dusk, the light turned golden and the entire scene came alive—the warm hues reflecting off the river, illuminating the Gothic spires and bringing the bridge’s ancient architecture into sharp, vibrant focus. I captured these moments with LomoColor Turquoise and Kodak Gold, loving the rich, saturated tones they gave the sunset glow. I also shot some Kentmere 400 B&W. As the light faded further, the scene shifted to cooler, blue hues before full night settled in.
Then I explored the city lights at night—streets and buildings glowing under artificial light—before jumping on buses and the metro to feel the evening pulse and boarding an overnight train to Vienna. With just one day, every moment on the bridge and in the square felt like stumbling onto perfect, ready-made scenes.
